Be a Cinema Manager with a difference!
MediCinema needs a new manager for its professionally equipped 56 seat cinema located at the Serennu Centre, Newport. In this unusual and part-time role you will be responsible for providing hugely appreciated big screen entertainment to children in a specially designed facility that accommodates beds and wheelchairs. You will manage a small team of volunteers and run the cinema projection system. As part of your responsibilities you will also be expected to manage local/regional fundraising and promote the charity. You will need to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour.
The Serennu Centre is a specialist environment and a good understanding of health and safety issues is essential. A minimum of three years operational management experience at a supervisory or assistant manager level or above, ideally gained in a cinema, is also required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to work
24 hours per week. Attractive salary offered, commensurate with experience.
